Triton Athletics

Today took the girls to their 2nd wrestling tournament of the season at Penn High School for the 2nd annual Sarah Hildebrandt Invitational. This year it was even bigger, there were 45 area teams on site with over 500 girl wrestlers. Most of the Triton team wrestled in the JV rings. It gave them a chance to get more wrestling in with the format different then the the Varsity ring. All the girls did great with some wins and some losses. But the girls are learning and getting better all the time. The Triton TEAM placed 27th out of 45 schools. Varsity Wrestlers - Results: 125lbs. Andrea Ford placed 2nd overall and went 2w/1L 135lbs. Rilee Bemish placed 4th overall and went 3w/2L 140lbs. Bailey Nicely DNP and went 2w/2L 105lbs. Macy Carson DNP and went 0w/2L The rest of the Triton Team competed in the JV brackets today. JV Wrestlers - Results: 98lbs. Kailyn Schuh placed 1st overall and went 2w/0L 145lbs Emma Tobolski placed 2nd overall and went 2w/1L 150lbs. Gabrille Ford placed 2nd overall and went 2w/1L 170lbs. Jazmin Lemler placed 3rd overall and went 1w/2L 105lbs. Caiti Gould placed 3rd overall and went 1w/2L 130lbs. Brianna Lockhart placed 3rd overall and went 1w/2L 110lbs.
