Thursday, December 18, 2025 BOURBON, Ind. — Bremen’s defensive intensity and efficient scoring proved too much Thursday night as the Lady Lions pulled away early and never looked back, defeating Triton 50–15 at The Trench. Bremen set the tone from the opening tip, racing out to a 16–6 first-quarter lead and following it with a decisive 20-point second quarter that put the Trojans in a deep halftime hole. Triton struggled to find rhythm offensively, shooting just 18.9 percent from the field for the game while facing constant ball pressure and contested looks. Despite the challenges, the Lady Trojans continued to compete on the defensive end and on the glass. Austyn Wright led Triton with 6 points, while also contributing 3 rebounds and a block. Sierra Hawley added 4 points and 4 rebounds, and Janika Kemp knocked down Triton’s lone three-pointer on the night, finishing with 3 points. Triton’s defensive effort was highlighted by Avery Viers, who recorded 2 blocks and 2 steals, and Jillian Bules, who added a steal while battling inside. The Trojans forced nine Bremen turnovers, but were unable to convert consistently on the offensive end. Bremen’s balanced attack featured Emma Lawmaster and Eliana Grubbs, who each scored 11 points, while Teagan Feathers added 8 points and 9 rebounds. The Lions dominated the paint and transition game, scoring 24 points in the paint and 23 points off turnovers, creating steady separation throughout the night. Triton will look to regroup at Pioneer on Saturday night. • BREMEN 50, TRITON 15 At The Trench TRITON: Savannah Hawley 0, Sierra Hawley 2 0-0 4, Chloe McKinney 0, Mylie Groves 0, Avery Viers 1 0-0 2, Lydia Hammond 0, Beatriz Blanco 0, Tatum Hudson 0, Janika Kemp 1 0-0 3, Jillian Bules 0, Austyn Wright 3 0-0 6.
