The girls' wrestling program celebrated the culmination of a landmark season Monday evening with their annual awards banquet, honoring the achievements of a team that has helped establish the sport's foundation at the school. The evening marked an emotional farewell to a senior class that pioneered girls wrestling at Triton, leaving behind a legacy of championship-caliber performance and leadership that has set the standard for future classes. These seniors brought wrestling to Triton in a significant way and competed with poise and determination throughout their careers. The program's future appears equally promising, with the freshman class demonstrating the commitment necessary to maintain Triton's competitive trajectory in girls wrestling. Team Honors The Lady Trojans received their varsity letters along with Hoosier North Athletic Conference Team Champion patches, recognizing their conference title. Freshmen Gabe Ford and Brianna Lockhart earned their varsity "T" letters. Three wrestlers—Kailyn Schuh, Brianna Lockhart, and Andrea Ford—received HNAC All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition. Six Lady Trojans earned HNAC All-Conference Individual Champion honors: Emma Tobolski, Macy Carson, Kensie Schuh, Rilee Bemish, Bailey Nicely, and Jazmin Lemler. Postseason Qualifiers Macy Carson, Rilee Bemish, Andrea Ford, Brianna Lockhart, Bailey Nicely, and Jazmin Lemler all qualified for Regional with their Sectional performances. Along with freshman Kensie Schuh, who was the Sectional champ at 110 pounds. Academic Excellence Macy Carson and Jazmin Lemler were recognized with HNAC Academic All-Conference honors for their classroom achievements. Individual Awards Bailey Nicely led the team in two statistical categories, earning recognition for Most Team Points and Most Falls. Rilee Bemish topped the squad with the Most Takedowns. Emma Tobolski was named Most Improved Wrestler. Jazmin Lemler received the Mental Attitude Award. Macy Carson was presented with the Coaches Award.
