NORTH JUDSON — Varsity baseball built a big early lead and held on late to defeat the Bluejays baseball 13–9 on Monday night. Triton scored three runs in each of the first three innings and added four more in the fourth to take a commanding 13–7 lead. North Judson chipped away late, but couldn’t overcome the Trojans’ explosive start. Drew Bingamon led the offense, going 3-for-4 with four runs scored and a home run. Maddox Dennie added four hits and three RBIs, while Braxton Kaufman drove in three runs and scored three times with a double and triple. Levi McFarland earned the win, striking out five over three innings. Blake Ousley and Max Johnson combined to close out the final four innings and secure the victory. North Judson was led by Bradley Irzyk (3-for-3) and Ayson Harper (two hits, two runs), while Doug Reed scored three times in the loss.
