ROCHESTER - Triton turned in a strong team performance Friday at the Valley Invite, placing fifth out of 10 teams at Round Barn Golf Course. The Trojans finished with a team score of 376, just seven strokes behind fourth-place North Miami and four shots ahead of Rochester. Fremont won the invitational with a 336, followed by Lewis Cass at 349 and Tippecanoe Valley Green at 351. Gavin Riffle led Triton with a 90, finishing in a tie for 13th overall. Landon Patrick followed with a 93, tying for 16th. Owen Waymouth added a 96, Charlie Worsham carded a 97, and Darrin King rounded out the Triton lineup with a 103. Tippecanoe Valley Green’s Wes Parker earned medalist honors with a 76. Fremont’s Zander Reetz was second with a 79, while Rochester’s Isaac Heishman finished third with an 80.
