WARSAW — Triton’s boys track and field season came to an end Thursday night at the 2026 IHSAA Boys Regional at Warsaw’s Tiger Athletic Complex, but the Trojans still left the meet with another school record. Even though none of the Trojans advanced to the IHSAA State Finals, the 4x100-meter relay team of Cayden Bradley, Isaac Quintana, Cameron Callahan, and Jayden Overmyer delivered one of the highlights of the night for Triton. The group finished in 43.88 seconds, setting another school record. It was the second straight meet with a school record for the relay team. After setting a new mark of 44.01 at the sectional, Bradley, Quintana, Callahan, and Overmyer came back at the regional and lowered it again. Quintana scored for Triton in the 400-meter dash, placing sixth with a time of 50.07 seconds. His finish gave the Trojans three team points in one of the toughest regional fields in northern Indiana. Vinny Prater represented Triton in the 300-meter hurdles, finishing in 44.03 seconds. Callahan cleared 5 feet, 10 inches in the high jump, while Brady Schuh threw 45 feet, 1 inch in the shot put. Quintana also qualified in the 200-meter dash preliminaries. Northridge won the regional team championship with 72 points, followed by Warsaw with 67 and Penn with 55. Triton finished tied for 32nd with three points.
