🎾 Trojans Sweep Rochester for Third Straight Win

ROCHESTER — Triton continued its strong start to the season with a dominant 5-0 varsity victory over Rochester on Thursday. The Trojans won all five matches in straight sets and surrendered just 11 games across the entire contest. Max Ritchison opened the sweep at No. 1 singles, defeating Camden Zink 6-3, 6-2. Colton Large rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Griffin Newton at No. 2 singles, while Levi McFarland blanked Cash Casper 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 3 position. The Trojans were equally impressive in doubles action. Brayden Nifong and Max Johnson defeated Jesse Smith and Logan Fuller 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. Camden Large and Clayton Andrews completed the shutout with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Ayden Smith and Luka Gottschalk at No. 2 doubles. Triton’s junior varsity team also earned a 2-1 victory.
