BOURBON — Triton responded to its first loss of the season with a pair of dominant performances Tuesday, sweeping North Judson-San Pierre 5-0 in both varsity and junior varsity competition. The Trojans used a reshuffled varsity lineup and won all five matches in straight sets. Junior Levi McFarland moved into the No. 1 singles position and defeated Peyton Harris 6-1, 6-1. Max Johnson earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Riley Kolasa at No. 2 singles, while Brayden Nifong rolled past Orrin Ball 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Seniors Max Ritchison and Colton Large teamed at No. 1 doubles and turned in a flawless performance, defeating Corbin Lemon and Andrew Chambers 6-0, 6-0. Brady Heckaman and Camden Large completed the varsity sweep at No. 2 doubles, winning two competitive sets against Judah Pettengail and Aiden Selmer, 7-5, 7-5. Triton was equally dominant in the junior varsity match. Clayton Andrews and Landon Grindle each earned 8-0 singles victories, while Aiden Emkow and Jackson Faulkner won by the same score at No. 1 doubles.
