MENTONE - It was a cool overcast morning in Mentone for the 42nd Annual Tippy Valley Cross Country Invitational. Today Triton was unable to field a Varsity team for either the boys or the girls. But they came out and ran great as individuals. The 4 girls that ran today all placed in the Top 20. As usual Evelyn Gephart led the girls to a 4th place finish out of 41 girls overall and setting a new Season Best Time while doing it. Izzy wasn't far behind in 15th place. Kensie set another Season Best time and Freshman Joelie Stetzel set yet another Personal Record with her 20th place finish. Corgan ran well and placed 52nd out of 88 boys setting a time of 21:56.4. Full girls results: 4th Evelyn Gephart 21:44.1 SB 15th Isabelle Rettinger 23:39.2 18th Kailyn Schuh 24:08.8 SB 20th Joelie Stetzel 25:11.7 PR Today the coaches got to run a 3K race at the end. And our very own Coach Faulkner of course took first place for the women coming in 6th overall but ahead of any other female coach by 3 minutes. Way to Go Coach!!
