BOURBON — The Triton varsity volleyball team earned its fifth consecutive victory Monday night, defeating Plymouth in straight sets, 26-24, 25-16, 25-16. Plymouth pushed the Lady Trojans throughout a tightly contested opening set. Triton held off the Pilgrims in extra points, 26-24, before taking control of the match. The Lady Trojans captured the second set 25-16 and followed with another 25-16 victory in the third to complete the sweep. Sophomore Analeigh Na delivered another dominant all-around performance, leading Triton with 25 kills. She also collected 16 digs, recorded three blocks and served two aces. Freshman Avery Wright contributed 10 kills and one ace, while junior Savannah Hawley added six kills. Hawley led the Lady Trojan defense with 17 digs and recorded two blocks. Senior Lydia Hammond finished with 14 digs. Junior Sophie Howell directed Triton’s offense with a team-high 37 assists and added one ace. Junior Brylee Sheetz and Wright also served one ace apiece. Sophomore Ady Stichter, Hawley and junior Kiyliyen Fear each contributed two blocks. The Lady Trojans enter the contest with a 7-0 conference record and can complete an undefeated HNAC season with a victory. JV action is scheduled to begin at 6 pm.
