DENVER — Triton closed the regular season with a 41-12 loss to North Miami Friday night at Tim Dubois Field. North Miami scored twice during the opening quarter to build a 13-0 advantage. Senior Cooper Pattison accounted for both touchdowns, scoring on runs of 18 and 15 yards. Triton answered early in the second quarter when senior Cayden Bradley scored on a seven-yard run, cutting the deficit to 13-6. Senior Alexander Towles added touchdown runs of seven and 13 yards later in the quarter. Sophomore Oliver Wildermuth converted a two-point attempt following the second score, giving North Miami a 27-6 halftime lead. The Warriors extended their advantage during the third quarter with a seven-yard touchdown run by Wildermuth and a one-yard score by senior Alan Wildermuth. Bradley completed the scoring with a 13-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He finished with 27 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Senior Ryder Gayheart led Triton’s rushing attack with 49 yards on 18 attempts, including a team-long 22-yard run. Junior Lukas Nicely added 12 yards on his only carry. Bradley completed 6 of 13 passes for 68 yards. Junior Blake Ousley caught two passes for a team-high 34 yards, while Nicely recorded three receptions for 26 yards. Triton finished with 156 yards of offense and nine first downs. The Trojans held the ball for 24:10 and converted three third downs and one fourth-down attempt. North Miami accumulated 408 yards, with 391 coming on the ground. Towles led the Warriors with 123 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Wildermuth added 102 yards and a touchdown, while Pattison finished with 74 yards and two scores. Nicely led the Triton defense with 11 tackles and intercepted a pass. Senior Ashton Jacobs recorded eight tackles, while junior Logan Collins added seven. Bradley, Gayheart and sophomore Rylan Stetzel finished with five tackles apiece.
